Auditing Citizenship – Primary and Secondary

This handbook is a useful tool for Citizenship Co-ordinators.
The book presents a framework for auditing what activities are already taking place within the school that fulfil the Citizenship requirements and where the gaps are. The booklet also addresses whether requirements for education for sustainable development, racial equality and teaching the global dimension are covered. The idea behind the booklet is that completed audit sheets can be used to plan what areas of the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum might need to be taught in a separate curriculum slot or through a new extra-curricular activity.
The booklet is available in two versions: one for Key Stages 1 and 2, another for Key Stages 3 and 4.
