The Hunger Map

This map, info-graphic and accompanying 20-page briefing paper are part of an education and awareness campaign exploring the different dimensions of world hunger today (including definition, measurement, who’s at risk, causes and debates).

It provides very useful background information on the issue of world hunger, and also offers a set of teaching, learning and discussion activities for use in group work and in the classroom.

It has been developed for schools in Ireland, but can be used flexibly in any educational context, for example to support the teaching of Geography or other subjects such as Citizenship, English/Literacy, Media Studies or PSHE.
