Timanyane – Making the most of school visits by artists from Africa

This practical handbook is useful for any teachers wanting to invite an African artist to visit their school. It includes a step-by-step guide to working with artists, preparation for the visit, and lots of classroom activities.

The book also describes how the visit might fulfil curriculum requirements for teaching pupils at all ages, and ideas of how the visit could enrich the school curriculum, broaden pupils horizons and challenge racism and stereotyping.
