togetherTV
Video stories from people in the developing world in their own words

Launched in March 2005 by Christian Aid and the Irish development agency Trocaire, togetherTV gives individuals in the developing world a rarely heard voice. These 47 short film clips of people talking about their lives defy the negative labels too often attached by the western media to people living in developing countries.
The films have been shot in a number of different countries in Asia, Africa and South America, and cover a range of themes, including poverty, living with HIV, the effects of the Indian Ocean tsunami, child rights, women’s rights, trade and education.
