Why Comics?

Why Comics? education charity brings contemporary humanitarian and social issues (such as racism, conflict, migration, bullying, trafficking and climate change) into the classroom through interactive literary comic books based on real-life testimony.
The resources aim to build empathy and enhance learning for students and teachers alike. They include embedded contextual multimedia (such as maps, news articles and videos) and are supported with UK national curriculum relevant lesson plans linked to different curriculum subjects.
The lesson plans are targeted at KS2 to 5.
